Buy the unlocked international Samsung Galaxy Note 9 for $770 from Ebay

We've seen some deals on the Samsung Galaxy Note 9, including one from T-Mobile that we told you about earlier today. With 36 month financing from the carrier, and as much as $360 in bill credits from a trade-in, you can buy the 128GB model for only $15 a month. But let's say that you don't want to be a T-Mobile subscriber (maybe you're allergic to magenta), but still want to save some hard-earned cash on the Galaxy Note 9. One place you can turn to is eBay.

An eBay seller carrying a positive feedback rating of 99.2% is offering the unlocked international Samsung Galaxy ...

LG K20 receiving the Android 8.1 Oreo update at AT&T

AT&T added the budget-friendly LG K20 to its portfolio more than a year ago and to our surprise, the carrier has decided that it's worth updating the phone to Android 8.1 Oreo. According to the changelog published by AT&T, the update was released on October 10, so some LG K20 owners may have already received it.

The bad news is the update contains a much older August security patch and we're not sure that AT&T and LG will continue to offer newer security patches to the K20. Other changes mentioned by AT&T include FirstNet IOC2 and Mobile Hotspot APN, but that's about it.

    It's ...
